This patient came in for a check-up & clean concerned about yellow teeth and bad breath. They had never been to a dentist before and had a big social engagement later that day. We used the EMS Airflow Prophylaxis Master system to remove the extensive yellow and brown build up (calculus, stain and bacteria) and recommended the patient come back for regular cleanings every 6 months keeping their teeth white and breath fresh.

After many years this patient decided it was time to treat this very dark upper front tooth. This tooth was non vital from a trauma suffered many years ago. Conventional 2 stage root canal therapy was performed to treat the necrotic tooth followed by non vital bleaching for 2 weeks (photo taken at 2 week review). Full mouth scale/clean with the EMS Airflow Prophylaxis Master removed the stained calculus and Zoom! In-chair Teeth Whitening revitalised this smile in a very conservative way.

This patient came in as an emergency with facial swelling and toothache. Tooth 46 (lower first molar) was badly broken down with chronic apical periodontitis. Extraction was not chosen as an option for this tooth but also finances played a factor in the treatment decision, so it was decided to perform traditional root canal therapy with an amalgam core/crown as the final restoration. This tooth is not visible on smiling so the patient was able to have a functional tooth while also saving on the cost not having a porcelain crown.

This young 5 ½ year old patient was great in the dental chair and wanted fissure sealants like their older cousins. A fissure is 5x more likely to develop decay than any other tooth surface. In children and adolescents, the chewing surfaces of molars and premolars are the most vulnerable. A white glass ionomer fissure sealant was used to protect these teeth from decay. Glass ionomers are easy to place and release fluoride.
