Smile Gallery: Dental Crowns and Bridges

This patient came to the dental practice concerned about a broken crown that never fitted or felt quite right (made and fitted in a single appointment). After lengthy discussion of the pros and cons of same day dental crowns, it was decided to make the new crown using the traditional 2 appointment approach. High strength 100% ultra-translucent zirconia dental ceramic was used to restore this tooth back to form and function.

This patient had a large tooth abscess on a split premolar tooth (failed root canal and crown). Referral was made to local specialists to remove the split tooth and place a bone level Straumann implant. After 3 months of healing impressions were taken and a screw retained Straumann implant abutment and a 100% ultra-translucent zirconia crown was inserted.

This patient came in not liking the gaps between her upper front teeth. They were not interested in orthodontics and it was decided to place 4x no prep porcelain veneers. Impressions were taken and sent to the local lab and the porcelain veneers cemented at the following appointment. No drilling. No needles. Patient happy.
