This patient came in as an emergency with a tooth abscess causing facial swelling and toothache. Due to the size of the tooth abscess and pain, traditional root canal therapy was performed in order to save this patients upper front tooth. All canals were found and the pain and swelling resolved after placement of the inter-appointment calcium hydroxide medicament.
